Kaijin YODAKI-IKA
Special Rod for the Traditional Fishing Style “Yodaki-Ika”
Yodaki-ika is a fishing style that lights up a boat offshore and aims for target squids such as yari-ika (Loligo bleekeri), kensaki-ika (Loligo edulis) or surume-ika (Tdoradodes pacificus). This series was developed exclusively for kensaki-ika, which is the main target in Genkai sea. With 210/FSL model, the angler can make attractive actions of the dropshot rig with sutte. 240M model was designed to handle squid without hook-out and to get multiple strikes on a rig.

EXTRA SLOW ACTION FOR SLOW METHOD WITH ELECTRIC REEL
・Exclusively designed rod for yodaki-ika in Genkai sea.
・The flexible blank with extra slow (5:5) action made from UD glass material avoids the hook-out even when the rod is set on the rod keeper.
・The flexibility and length keep the position of the rid even against the swell in bad weather and receive multiple strikes of squids.
・Recommended also for the slow retrieving method with the electric reel.
