DEEP IMPACT TERU STYLE
The Standard Series for More Deep Sea Anglers
The standard series that Teru Okamoto designed and tested for enjoying the deep sea fishing every where and every time. That is “DEEP IMPACT TERU STYLE”. He selected 2 different structures (ULDP and GC ULDP Blank Structure) and assigned them to 5 models at accordance with the situation where the rod is used.
The rods with GC ULDP:
RT 0 for medium deep sea, light deep sea fishing.
RTⅠ for “kinme” (Beryx splendens) fishing with heavy tackle, codfish and so on.
RTⅡ for “beniakou” (Sebastes iracundus) fishing, skilfish and so on.
The rods with ULDP:
SⅠ for kinme fishing with heavy tackle, codfish and so on.
SⅡ for “akoudai” (Sebastes matsubarae), codfish and so on.

GCULDP BLANK STRUCTURE (for RT models)
The blank’s structure with super multilayered MPG material centering an axis of medium elasticity carbon. The slim blank reduces the rod’s weight as maintaining the rod power.

ULDP BLANK STRUCTURE (for S models)
The super thick multilayer of MPG pre-preg shaped under high pressure includes less plastic and more MPG inside. This structure brings out the ability of MPG material and contributes to the features that other existing tubular blanks don’t have.

Fuji IGRBSG GUIDE
The strongest butt guide with triple foot. The guide is fixed firmly on the blank by the double wrapping process.

Fuji IGHBSG GUIDES
The heavy-duty guides with the light weight and high durability. The guides are fixed firmly on the blank by the double wrapping process.

EXTRA FERRULE
The almost same strength as non-separated-1-peice rods due to the doubled length of the inner shaft.
There is also an optional adaptor for setting every model of DEEP ODYSSEY to Miya-epoch MAXIMUM M that is often used by experienced anglers.

SHORT HANDLE WITH TRIANGLE REEL SEAT
The hood part of the reel seat does not turn around and the reel can be set firmly and easily.

ALUMINUM END WITH 360°ROTARY RING
The butt hand rope does not tangle due to the rotary ring.

・As using the ULDP structure with MPG material, the rod action is softer than “RT-Ⅰ” model (between RT-0 and RT-Ⅰ).
・The soft blank makes the hook-out difficult for fish and the bottom bumping technique is easy with this rod.
